Mampara of the week: Julius Malema

24 March 2019 - 00:00 By HOGARTH

IN THE NONSENSE CORNER
Now that Jacob Zuma is no longer in the picture, Juju has run out of ideas to keep his party relevant to the electorate. That is why whenever he is bored, he targets journalists just for a five-second slot on radio news.
Now he's back to his old strategy of stoking racial tension so that he can grab another corner in newspaper pages.
To have his name published the following day, this is what he told EFF supporters at a Human Rights Day celebrations on Thursday. "Today is the day we are fighting for the rights of black people. We must not make any apology about that. This nonsense of nonracialism in defence of white privilege, we are not part of that nonsense."
Such a diatribe belongs in this part of the paper. Congratulations Mamparalema, at least you got published!..
