Aussies again fail to reach 300

Travis Head's century was the cornerstone of Australia 283 for six as the world champions found runs hard to come by against Middlesex in a one-day tour match at Lord's on Saturday. Head made 106 and Australia vice-captain Aaron Finch 54. But for the second match in a row, after their 277 for nine in a 57-run tour-opening win over Sussex at Hove on Thursday, Australia failed to reach the now 50-over par total of 300.
