In this week's episode of Coke Studio, East meets West as Eastern Cape’s iFani gets together with Western Cape’s Francois van Coke to create a blend of hip-hop and rock in one hit track. And the best part? It's such an effortless crack at bringing two vastly different genres together.

Look, it is hardly any secret that both these Cape artists are bound to create magic when put together in studio. But exceeding expectations, iFani surprises everyone after coming up with a beautiful melody to a heavy rock beat.

With the help of young producer Dolf, the two artists find a way to infuse their two styles and the product is Timeline – a heavy rock number that is sure to take the music scene to another level.

And while iFani and Francois' chemistry comes naturally, it doesn't quiet work out that way for rising stars, Morena the Squire and Lindiwe Bungane, who spend two days trying to come up with the perfect love song.

The two artists find themselves lacking some inspiration by the beat initially created by producer Cueber.

However, soon after going back to the drawing board, they manage to craft something that gets the creative juices flowing, which sees Morena and Lindiwe's first collaboration flourishing into an unforgettable hot house track, titled Turning Me On.
