Year in review: Inside AKA & Nicole Nyaba's, erm, confusing relationship

Rumours that AKA and video vixen Nicole Nyaba were romantically linked first surfaced in 2017 and continued to swirl into 2018. 

Remember that Sunday Sun report that AKA and Nicole were apparently seen by several sources getting cosy at an event? 

Yeah fam, that was in September 2017. At the time, AKA was in a relationship with Bonang Matheba and fiercely denied the claims. The rapper even offered a R100k reward to anyone who could come forward with proof to back up the allegations. 

Then, much to the devastation of die-hard fans, AKA and Bonang announced their split.

Fast forward to 2018 

Just months after splitting from Bonang, rumours that Nicole was AKA's side-chick continued to swirl. Twitter detectives did the most in July to prove that Nicole was snapped chilling at what they believed was AKA's crib. 

Nicole spills the tea

At the beginning of August Nicole sent the internet into a complete frenzy after she threatened to leak naked pictures of someone linked to an ex-boyfriend. Even though she didn't name anyone, she used a bee emoji.  

Bonang is widely known as Queen B across Mzansi. 

Things get hotter

During an interview with Drum magazine at the end of August, Nicole claimed that she and AKA were in love, and that they were even allegedly living together.

To add more spice to the mix, Nicole claimed that AKA left her to go back to his baby mama DJ Zinhle.
