While many might have grievances about US actress Gabrielle Union being in South Africa and they haven't had a chance to meet her, Pearl Thusi got to party up a storm with the Hollywood star.
The actress took to her Instagram timeline, sharing clips of them doing the #Cuffitchallenge and indulging in hot wings at Konka club in Soweto.
“Can you count how many times we did this challenge? Watch what happens when hunger strikes at groove ... or the wings just SLAP. I was so lit and I’m not ashamed (any more). This #cuffitchallenge is officially over y’all,” Pearl posted.
In the comments section , Gabrielle raved about the hot wings, saying she had not enjoyed having them in a club in a while.
“Let's talk about that chicken though ... It's been a minute since I've had bomb arse chicken in the club. I wasn't letting it go.”
Gabrielle's husband, former professional basketball player Dwyane Wade, shared the sentiments.
“Those wings and fries though,” he posted.
Pearl has seemingly developed a relationship with Gabrielle since their first meeting in a bar in Barcelona for the 2020 Fifa World Cup.
Gabrielle has lauded her in a lengthy post on Instagram, saying she is a fan.
“She’s the kind of woman to pop up at my birthday dinner at my favourite Mexican spot when I thought she was out of the country. I'm so inspired by the work she does. From her immense talent to her groundbreaking roles to her hairline to raising her two daughters. Just, WOW. Let us lift her up in the light of goodness and hold her there.” she wrote.
