Social media sensation and DJ Lungelihle Zwane, popularly known as “Uncle Waffles”, is booked and busy selling out shows beyond the borders of Mzansi, and she's super proud to be living her American dream.

The DJ is in the US for the first time touring, some of the hottest spots in the country.

Taking to Instagram, Uncle Waffles expressed pride in how tickets for her shows have been selling out like hot cakes.

True Hollywood dreams. Thank you for another beautiful sold-out show LA. Every US tour show thus far has sold out, truly grateful. More are coming!”

The Tanzania hit maker who walked away with the Best DJ Africa award at this year's African Muzik Magazine Awards has been making big moves and receiving recognition across the globe from renowned stars.

American singer Omarion lauded Uncle Waffles for delivering an amazing performance at one of her recent gigs.

“You [are] something special. Congratulations. I had a blast,” he wrote.

Since gaining stardom after a video of her dancing to Young Stunna's Adiwele went viral in 2021, Uncle Waffles has been basking in success.

Her debut album Red Dragon recently became the most streamed project on Apple Music locally, and she bagged herself a residency on BBC RADIO 1 where she unpacks the amapiano genre that changed her life.

I will be shedding the spotlight on the genre that changed my life, amapiano, and some of its hottest songs to date,” she wrote.
