Rami Chuene left the timeline confused this week after she suggested she and Themba Gwejela had had a fallout.

The actress and celebrity chef shot up trends lists and even got the attention of EFF leader Julius Malema after they went back and forth in a series of Twitter posts.

In the first post, Rami warned people about Themba, claiming that he was full of “broken promises”, and later claimed he was broke.

“Please stay away from this guy. Broken promises waya waya and he'll never betcha you,” she wrote.

Themba responded, claiming that Rami had agreed to be her side and he was unable to send her money without his ex-wife noticing.

“I knew you’d expose yourself. Looking for love kanjani with not one but 2 ex wives, a side, no money and with kid no 8 on the way? Nna bitter? Please don’t embarrass yourself further. Goodnight, or not,” Rami wrote in another Twitter post.

Soon the socials were flooded with reaction, with some claiming the pair had exposed themselves.

Rami and Themba later poured cold water on the saga, saying it was all a joke.

“Last time I trended for something this crazy was when I got ‘married’. I wasn’t expecting this blow up again. Also, Themba was never married and has no children. Wishing you all a drama-free day today love,” Rami wrote.

Themba went on his timeline saying he was just friends with Rami.

“Ok guys let’s wrap it up, this was banter. Rami Chuene and I are friends, I do not have 7 kids nor have I ever been married. Enjoy your day further.”

While some found the interaction hilarious and said it was clearly some banter between friends, others were a little more suspicious of the pair and suggested they may have been saving face.
