Lorna Maseko gets her teeth into catering

Congratulations are in order for Lorna Maseko. She has launched a catering company.

The media personality and celebrity chef took to her social timeline this week to announce the news that she is expanding her brand. 

“Hey guys, I’m launching a new endeavour — bespoke catering services with an international flair! If you have an event anywhere in the world, whether intimate or large, we’ll come to you and craft a unique culinary experience just for your event and guests.

“We’ll discuss what you’d like the experience to be like and build the menu around that. Then we’ll bring everything needed to provide a beautiful and memorable table and menu. Get in touch with our 'Celebrate By Lorna Maseko' team and we look forward to creating incredible memories with you.”

Lorna has been taking strides in the culinary industry, from launching her cookbook to hosting BBC Lifestyle show Homegrown Tastes South Africa, which premiered in March last year.

“Getting an international-based show has always been one of my goals because it’s time to put South Africa on the culinary global stage. Another highlight for me is how beautiful this country is. There are gems here and I guess with Covid-19 restrictions being eased,  people can travel and see that,” she told True Love.

Among her many accolades is the 2020 Luxe Restaurant Awards' Culinary Icon Award.
