Ntombee Mzolo has come out guns blazing against people who are coming for her daughter on the socials.

Taking to her Instagram timeline on Sunday, the media personality opened up about how her daughter Nomvelo Mzolo, who is a Miss Preteen finalist for the regionals in Gauteng, has been accused of getting support because of who her family is.

Her daughter is in the “public choice” award category which is open for public voting and is in the number one spot.

“I wish people could start giving Nomvelo credit for the work she is putting in and stop acting like she's getting votes because of her family. We are campaigning, literally dm(ing) people asking for votes and running charity and fundraising events/campaigns every day, while you and your children sleep and do nothing. Then you have the gall to go on social media and complain about the support Nomvelo is getting. Start by congratulating her for her hard work and the difference she's making in her community. She was number four at some point and you didn't complain. Stop teaching your children to hate my child for nothing. If anything, they should be inspired by her strength. This gorgeous queen has lost two siblings but remains positive, kind, loving and helpful. She also deserves good things bathong. Niyathakatha nina!

According to the pageant's web page the contestants' task is to promote local tourism, small businesses, anti-bullying, community work and motivational speaking.

Taking to her own Instagram timeline, Nomvelo shared her gratitude as her charity event went well.

“My first charity drive drop-off went really well. Thank you so much to everyone who donated, because this would not have been possible without you. Thank you to my amazing volunteers who prepared everything for the day,” she wrote.
