K.O says he is the reason he doesn't get flowers.

His song SETE was arguably the most played in 2022 and saw him nominated for multiple Metro FM awards recently.

He walked away empty handed at the awards, with his fans claiming he was underappreciated.

He opened up about this in a sit-down on Drinks with Noms

“I’ve never done just the K.O concert back home. Where it’s like; if you walk through those doors you are solely going in there to see this man. My peers have done that. You’re talking about Cassper Nyovest, even AKA, and all those kinds of people. I’ve never done that.

“As much as, yes people might say I don’t get enough flowers, to a certain degree, I’m the very reason I don’t get some of those flowers. Because I don’t give them the reason to put me on that pedestal sometimes.”

At the beginning of the year he took to his Instagram timeline for a humble brag while sharing snaps of himself on a yacht enjoying champers.

“I am too humble to celebrate my blessings at times. Anyway, 2023 is in full swing. Enjoy being back at work/school and all that. I’m back in the studio. Love and light,” the rapper posted.

The Cararaca hitmaker previously told TshisaLIVE he planned to become a better entrepreneur and an all-rounder in the industry.

“I've conquered so much within music; there are things that I'm pursuing as an artist and for my brand. My main goal now is also to focus on other things and evolving and just showing leadership in other spheres related to my brand,” he said
