Rapper A-Reece will have none of Nota's shade towards him and his brother, rapper Jay Jody.
Nota is notorious for stirring the pot on the socials with his views about musicians and this week took aim at A-Reece.
“A-Reece fans have him running in a spot. He needs to stop being comfortable watching movies and maybe even study Africana so he can grow. His audience will outgrow him soon if he keeps rapping to impress brats that haven’t seen the world. Rapping about Nairobi and he’s never been [there],” tweeted Nota.
A-Reece hit back, claiming Nota had not brought up these criticisms when they met earlier this year.
“We got to see each other in person about three months ago when I came to do the pod [podcast] with the OG. You ain’t say nothing but 'Reece, you’re doing good for yourself. I’m proud of you. You look good, let me put you on game about how it works overseas' and all that.
“You didn’t say s**t about what bothers you about how I rap, let alone that garbage about my big brother. DJ Sbu, say I’m lying? N**ga Nota, yous a bit**,” he replied.

In January Nota made remarks on Instagram about Jay Jody holding A-Reece back after the release of their collaborative mixtape in December 2021.
“Stop using your brother for fame and clout. It’s pathetic. You’re holding him back. Rather help him write Tswana raps than try putting your whack a** on the map,” Nota wrote.
In a video circulating on social media, Jay Jody told Nota he saw nothing wrong with working with his brother.
“I don't know how you were raised n*gga, but we are family. We do everything as a family. You're supposed to take care of your family,” he said.
