All eyes on problem child Pietersen

The domestic cricket season's favourite summer pastime, the Ram Slam T20 Challenge, begins with some world-renowned big-hitters expected to provide big hits and thrills aplenty once more. While most eyes will be on prodigal son Kevin Pietersen and what he can do for the Dolphins against the Titans in Centurion on Sunday, the Knights have created a stir with major personnel changes.Fearsome West Indian all-rounder André Russell is back to settle scores with Cape Cobras international signing and compatriot Kieron Pollard, after the latter helped the Cobras to the title at the expense of the Knights in last year's final. But Russell will have to wait until November 11 to turn the tables on Pollard. The Knights start their season away to the Warriors on Sunday in a Newlands double-header that also features the Cobras against the Highveld Lions, who are said to be after Sri Lankan Lasith Malinga and Windies batsman Lendl Simmons."André Russell is of international quality in the shorter formats," said coach Nicky Boje."You could see the influence of his guidance as the overseas player last season."He brings in lots of experience and hopefully, with Allan Donald working with him on his bowling, there'll be lots of good ideas and information coming in."..
