Where were you born? Baragwanath Hospital, Soweto.

Where do you live? Fourways.

Who do you share your house with? My husband, Siphiwe, and my two-year-old son, Mollwane.

How did you get into your career? I studied hotel management and now I own Party & Lifestyle Confidential, which caters for exclusive functions, travel and interior decorating and we also just do the things that busy people may not have time to organise.

Being royalty in 'African terms' ... means that it's not about the flashy lifestyle but about uplifting the community around you.

Was it difficult to decide to carve your own career path independent of your royal heritage? No. Our parents brought us up in a way that we felt free to follow our passions.

What would people be surprised to know about the Royal Bafokeng family? People have this perception that we spend community money from the diamond company's royalties. And yet all that money is actually used in community development.

My brother King Leruo Molotlegi isn't married ... but he will continue being king and, hopefully, he will get some heirs. My children would not be successors because it's only the male children whose heirs can become kings.

When did you realise that you were part of a royal family? When I was about 16. I think that was because I never got any special treatment at school.

Going to a spa is a necessity. We get so busy with work and taking care of our families that it becomes important to take time out for ourselves.

In my life I'm looking forward to ... having a bigger family and seeing how my new business venture will grow.

Are you attending any 2010 FIFA World Cup games? Yes. I'm most excited about the England vs USA taking place in Rustenburg.

I'm predisposed to ... opening my fridge and eating sweets at night.

My most valuable possession is ... my engagement ring.

What's your favourite building in Joburg? Le Chatelet hotel in Sandhurst.

What is the most memorable moment you've had in Joburg? My 30th birthday dinner that we had at the Peech hotel. All my friends and family were there. My brother the king attended but he was just there as my brother.

How do you get around? In a BMW.

I can't go a day without ... my BlackBerry. I use it strictly for e-mails and phone calls - I'm not on any social networks.

If you inherited R100-million what would you do with it? A majority of it would go towards projects that I've always wanted to do in communities. Also, I fly helicopters so I would start a reality show where I'd fly into emergency situations and try to help.

What CDs are you playing in your car? Chris Botto, Il Divo, Andrea Bocelli and Bliss.

If your house caught fire what would you save? Assuming my family was safe, I would definitely rescue my CD and DVD collection.

What are your creature comforts? I love cooking and watching DVDs at home. I can cook pretty much everything, but my favourite dish has to be oxtail.

What are you reading? Phenomenal Woman by Chris Kennedy and It's Your Time by Joel Osteen.

When I go out at night ... it's usually to a movie, dinner or a friend's house.

I always collect ... CDs.

My friends and I like ... get togethers. I usually end up cooking lunch for everyone.

My favourite pastime with my husband and son is ... going on weekend getaways.

Perfect happiness is: Loving unconditionally without it being about material things.

Have you ever taken public transport in Joburg? Many years ago, in 1988, my mother was in exile in Joburg and we'd use taxis to go and see her. Of course, the taxis were much better in those days.

Everything in moderation but ... food.

I met my partner ... through a family friend in 2000. He saw me and he was sold. He isn't from royalty but he was very comfortable with the fact that I was. In the past, when I was dating, I would try not to divulge that information but sometimes people would find out and it would become problematic.

If money could buy happiness ... money can never buy happiness.

• Tau Game Lodge, North West 011 314 4350 - It's situated in the Madikwe Game Reserve, just three and half hours from Johannesburg, heading towards Botswana. I don't really do game drives. I just enjoy the bush.

• Blubird Shopping Centre, Birnam 011 887 2759 - I love the fact that it is small and not buzzing with people. It has great restaurants.

• Ambience Salon, Fourways Crossings 011 705 2833 - I love getting my hair and nails done here.

• Villa D'Este Camelot Spa, Saxonwold 011 646 5152 - It's classic, fresh and relaxing, and doesn't feel like you're in Johannesburg.

• Phokeng, my home town just outside Rustenburg and Sun City - It is so quiet. It's country-like, but it is a community of The Royal Bafokeng Nation. It's a beautiful area to live in with notraffic or chaos.
