Why are white guys compelled to seek danger to feel alive?

If you're a person of colour who has had access to a TV or the internet over the past two decades, you will have come across a video that made you say: "White people are crazy." The video usually depicts some young Caucasians, often male, doing something so unimaginably stupid that a bemused laugh is the only reaction that makes sense.
For proof, google the Tide Pod challenge, or the story of the man who cemented his head in a microwave as a joke or the guy who fought a kangaroo to save his dog. Hell, just watch the countless seasons of Jackass.
