Netflix goes boldly where SABC can't with local content

Netflix is giving the SA television and film industry a leg up with its drive to release more local content to the world, including an upcoming three-part holiday-themed series in time for Christmas.

The US streaming entertainment service said it had a "long-term commitment" to SA, "investing in and supporting local storytellers to bring their unique stories to the world, especially stories that didn't previously get told"...
