Basotho blanket-inspired separates for stylish kids

Thabo Makhetha-Kwinana, the designer renowned for her unique BaSotho blanket capes, has turned her creative hand to kidswear, with a collection of BaSotho blanket-inspired separates, perfect for stylish kids on the move.
She tells us more:
I launched my collection of BaSotho blanket capes because I am a Mosotho. I realised that people tend to leave their culture and heritage behind when moving to the city, so I wanted to create a collection that merges modern contemporary style with cultural heritage.
I started a kidswear line because I recently became a mother to a beautiful boy and I'm also an aunt to two nieces. As a parent it's exciting to dress up your kids and many parents want their children to look as stylish as they do. Anything miniature looks adorable and the kids look great in them.
The Thabo Makhetha kidswear line consists of three styles. We've made a cape with a hood, a gilet and a long-sleeve jacket. The gilet and the jacket are both unisex.
