A study of over 1.8 million Instagram posts relating to cruising has produced an interesting hit parade, and a cool glimpse of the high life on board.
Looking to identify trends across different cruise lines, US-based booking company Seahub first scoured the photo-sharing website for posts that included the hashtag "cruise" - coming up with a staggering 1.8 million.
It then divided these up according to their other tags to rank some interesting trends. The Caribbean and the Bahamas turn out to be the most Instagrammed cruise destinations with over 80,000 mentions each. They are followed by Mexico, Greece, Italy and Australia, each with over 40,000.
Norway, France, Spain and Vietnam also earn spots in the top 15 with over 20,000 posts.
And when it comes to remembering that meal forever, taking a snap before you snack, the most worthy food item appears to be #seafood, followed by #dessert and #chocolate. #Buffet lands at number four.
Somewhat surprisingly, #vegan ranked seventh on the list, more popular than things like #cake, #steak and #shrimp.
There were no surprises, though, in the top-ranking beverage on board: #cocktail, of course. This was followed by #wine, #beer and #champagne...
