If you've had a bit of a rough start to the year and are already looking to get away from it all, how about the world's most chilled-out country - Indonesia?
The Southeast Asian nation took top honours in a recent ranking of the 15 "most zen countries" in the world. To compile their list, the folks at online travel retailer lastminute.com first identified the crucial "ingredients" for chilled-outness.
These included the number of annual leave and public holidays, the length of coastline, the number of green spaces, levels of noise and light pollution, and the number of spa retreats in each location.
Indonesia wins thanks in part to its more than 88,000km of coastline, 186 green spaces, and 66 spa and wellness retreats.
Australia came in second, aided by its average of 30 days of annual leave and over 40,200km of coastline.
Iceland came in third place, followed by New Zealand and Sri Lanka.
There were no countries on mainland Africa on the list, but if you're looking for the shortest haul from South Africa, then your closest chill-out destination is Mauritius.
The Indian Ocean island made it to 10th place on the list...
