It's not all bad for Ramaphosa, so he needs to show strong leadership

The unfortunate sideshow in our parliament this week is further proof of the lack of leadership that bedevils this country. The disruptions by the EFF, blatantly to score narrow political points, may be good for TV ratings, but they distract the nation from seriously engaging with the content of President Cyril Ramaphosa's state of the nation address.

It has been two years since Ramaphosa took the reins, promising to clean up the government and rebuilda state that can take care of its citizens, yet there remains an atmosphere of despair...
