Seasoned actress and businesswoman Connie Ferguson recently turned 53 years and her daughters penned heartfelt notes to their momma.

Taking to their socials Lesedi and Alicia shared the memories they've shared with their mother.

“Today 53 years ago you were brought into this world, and maaaaaan have you shown off what grace, elegance, kindness and faithfulness looks like with an ease we all envy. Thank you for everything you have taught and continue to teach me. Thank you for your love and strength for our family. May God continue to work through you and show His glory with all you aspire and reach. I am proud of you and proud to be your first daughter,” wrote Lesedi

Alicia also penned a sweet note to her mom.

“Words cannot explain how proud I am to call you my mom. Your strength and resilience never ceases to amaze me. Thank you for always being there for me. Thank you for being the kind, warm-hearted person that you are. Thank you for your typical mom jokes, and thank you for being the best mother on could ask for. I could go on and on and say thank you for many things, but I don’t want to make this message a 1000+ essay. I hope you have a wonderful and blessed day today, filled with nothing but love, joy, positivity and “does this song have a dance?” she wrote.

Connie recently recalled the day she gave birth to Alicia at Park Lane Clinic in Johannesburg on her 21st birthday.

“I love you so much, Alicia Angel Ferguson, and I am so proud that you chose your dad and I to be your parents. He is smiling and celebrating you from heaven. 'That’s my seed!' I can hear him brag! You wear him so well and you wear God well. May God continue to guide your steps, protect and bless you with all your heart's desires.”
