Wildlife vet Karin Lourens bends over Croczilla, a 2.5m Nile crocodile, to draw blood. Three people restrain the reptile, whose mouth is temporarily taped for everyone’s safety, while Lourens inserts the syringe into its neck. This is a first for Lourens in her nearly 22 years as a vet. ..
