Phuti Khomo is set to be back on television screens with her debut on e.tv's Imbewu

She plays the character Josina, Ngcolosi’s fiancée from Mozambique.

Viewers can see Phuti on their screens from tonight) at 9pm on e.tv.

Josina is described as a beautiful Mozambican woman who arrives at the Bhengu house expecting to move in and assume the role of soon-to-be wife.

Ngcolosi (played by Tony Kgoroge) introduces her as his fiancée.

Josina moves in with her soon-to-be husband but is not aware he is still living with his current wife, MaZulu (Leleti Khumalo).

The drama begins when Josina becomes furious when she realises Ngcolosi wasn’t honest with her and is using her to hurt MaZulu.

Phuti had been on a TV hiatus and it took the romcom  Entangled to get the actress and businesswoman to drop everything and come back to TV.

She had been away from the limelight for four year. Her last TV appearance was on the popular SABC2 soapie Muhvango

Phuti told TshisaLIVE she had always wanted to be part of a show that went against the grain of what was "normal".

“The show is a bit daring because it has all the s*x and nudity. It is raunchy but I’ve always dreamed of being part of productions that can be forward like that because when you are sitting at home, what are the shows you are watching?

“You are watching shows like Being Mary Jane, you are bingeing on shows that have that  all the time, but when it comes to South African shows we are always restricted by morality and culture."
