It's one of the biggest music and arts festivals in the US and Uncle Waffles recently shook things up, leaving tweeps impressed with her performance.

The Tanzania hitmaker made her debut on Coachella's Do LAB stage in California on Friday but is still the talk of the Twitter streets.

“Uncle Waffles is actually big. I'm watching some Coachella content on TikTok and people are saying they went to go watch her on stage. Yoh!” tweeted one.

“Uncle Waffles being at Coachella is proof of how far a Drake co-sign can take you,” tweeted another.

She headed to her Instagram timeline to share visuals from her performance at Southern California’s Buena Vista Lake.

Waffles joins an elite list of Mzansi musicians who've performed at the festival previously, including DBN Gogo, Major League DJs, DJ Black Coffee and Moonchild Sanelly.

The DJ comes a long way since blowing up with her viral video dancing to Youngstunna's Adiwele and Canadian rapper Drake's co-sign.

She recently announced she will release her second project, Asylum.

“One year ago I released my debut project, unlocking a part of me I never knew existed, vulnerability I never knew I could feel. A year later, I’m doing it again. Welcome to the Asylum,” she announced on her social media timeline.

American singer Omarion also lauded Uncle Waffles for delivering an amazing performance at one of her gigs in the US.

“You [are] something special. Congratulations. I had a blast,” he wrote.
