In medieval times feudal lords across England and Europe demanded droit du seigneur, the right to force any subordinate woman in their lands to have sex with them.
It would seem we have our own feudal lords in this realm called South Africa, where all three Gupta brothers have been accused of sexually harassing woman employees. An affidavit contained in the Gupta e-mails reveals their particularly nasty brand of female degradation.
A former personal assistant recounted the horror of her first day working for Tony. They took a business trip to Cape Town, where he demanded she give him a massage and told her all his PAs slept in his bed. He locked her in his bedroom and refused to allow her to call her husband. She eventually managed to escape.
Here's an idea: sleazy sex pests with a medieval modus operandi deserve a medieval form of punishment...
