Mome recently celebrated her husband Mongezi 'Tol A$$ Mo' Mahlangu on his birthday by penning a sweet message.

Taking to her Instagram she wrote a lengthy post directed to her husband, their life that has been filled with challenges and navigating their marriage as spiritually gifted people.

"We have come full circle, some days I wish we could live in a completely new world just to say we experience loving. In a different planet not knowing we will be Makgwedi & Kganyapanya Mahabahleka in the spiritual world , I chose this picture from 2 years ago it reminds me of how we loved even when we went through the most painful time and spiritual transition in each other’s presence."

"You were done with your journey and came to visit me and we went to take one of my MFO’s home for their home coming in the Vaal , This journey I’m still learning 3 years later , Trust me when I say I was not an easy letwasana my Resilient being was refusing to be soft it took time while going through this journey and dealing with false Public humiliation I had no interest in softening my brain."

On October 21 2012, the celebrity couple vowed to love each other and spoke of starting a family together. Now as they live out their life together, parenting three beautiful children, their love has grown stronger.

“I still can’t believe we have been married for 10 years, we live through honesty, loyalty, respect, kindness, support, understanding and that has kept us in love with no insecurities,” Mome told TshisaLIVE.

They've survived public scrutiny, amid Mongezi being accused of rape and sexual harassment, even allegations of impregnating another woman.

Referring to those incidents Mome said some people do not want to see their relationship thrive and go to the extent of fabricating stories.

“It’s like people hate to see us happy.”

“We have been through trials and tests publicly and that’s not easy for one’s mental health but prayer is the foundation of our relationship. We rely on God to keep our union peaceful with lots of love. My husband has made me understand that no-one comes between us but God who we pray to.”
