Here's a peek at the top stories that made headlines this week:

Lupita Nyong'o and Selema Masekela split

Lupita Nyong'o and Selema Masekela have broken up.

The Black Panther star announced their split in a lengthy Instagram post on Thursday.

“I find myself in a season of heartbreak because of a love suddenly and devastatingly extinguished by deception. I am tempted to run into the shadows and hide, only to return to the light when I have regained my strength enough for me to say, 'Whatever, my life is better this way'. But I am reminded the magnitude of the pain I am feeling is equal to the measure of my capacity for love. And so I am choosing to face the pain, cultivating the courage to meet my life exactly as it is, and trusting this too shall pass.”

Inside Will and Jada's separation

The internet went haywire when Jada Pinkett-Smith revealed in an interview on The Today Show she and Will Smith have been separated since 2016.

They are not divorced and Pinkett-Smith said she does not want to break a promise she made to not divorce her husband.

“I made a promise that there would never be a reason for us to get a divorce. We will work through whatever and I have not been able to break that promise, we live separately,” she said.

Inside Life with K.O, two upcoming shows and a brand new store

K.O exclusively revealed to TshisaLIVE that after the success of his first show, there will be two more shows before the year ends.

“That concept is being moved around the country, we just needed to find the right partners. So in December we are doing two shows, one in Durban and another in Cape Town. We are gonna be announcing the dates pretty soon and probably we are going to continue with that on the other side of the year as well, shortly after my new album comes up,” he said.

Nomcebo Zikode recently released her single Inkanyezi

The singer told TshisaLIVE Inkanyezi was inspired by the love her husband Selwyn Fraser has for her. She said her hubby, who's also her manager, has always been by her side.

Are you planning to release an album any time soon?

Yes, but before we release the full project I’m still going to release a few singles, because I have more music I want people to feast on.

There are officially three nights left before the last season of Idols SA comes to a close and Thabo is among the top four remaining in the singing competition.
