RED CARD FOR MAMPARADONA
Nigerian artist Niniola had the continent on its feet with her hit song Maradona, about a ladies' man who dribbles his way into women's hearts.
The real Maradona, though, has had the world gasping for air with his antics in Russia. He might have scored the famous Hand of God goal, but only the devil can explain what got into him in that private suite at St Petersburg Stadium on Tuesday evening. When he was not dozing off, El Diego was throwing middle-finger bombs at Nigerian supporters.
Many questioned his sobriety, given his battle with drug addiction. To think that Fifa pays legends like him to add excitement to World Cup matches.
After that stunt, Mamparadona must not be allowed anywhere near a live match, especially when his beloved Argentina are playing...
