On January 9 1973 workers at Coronation Brick and Tile in Durban went on strike. The protest was self-organised as they had no union. Tomorrow marks 50 years since the industrial action. Thereafter, more strikes followed, and on January 25 workers at the huge Frame textile factory came out. ..
